On one hand, web developers try really hard to create a unique page which will stand out and even overshadow its competitors but on the other, their design should also keep updated with the consumers’ demands. After all, no one creates something only to be appreciated by him and his close friends. With that in mind, let’s see how the constantly challenging web development industry will evolve during 2019.
- Priority to difference: Even a typical, everyday surfing through the web proves that the majority of pages look like they came from a photocopy machine. The use of typical formats, very common fonts etc. don’t help the uniqueness of a brand to stand out but there is also the danger to make it one of the many. Maybe the dawn of the New Year is the time of change towards more innovative solutions, capable of promoting the distinctive character and personality of each brand.
- Creative use of animation: What is our first thought to catch someone eye? Using some kind of animation. Well, that was in the past. Now, designers prefer not to use animated scenes just for the shake of it but as a creative and more targeted tool.
- Website Accessibility: It refers to designing websites appropriate for people with disabilities. Unfortunately, currently there are very few pages that offer this kind of service but the movement towards it continues to grow, a fact that may lead to a hopeful, future change.
